Prostration

Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
