In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Allah has caused the works of those who disbelieve and hinder people from the way of Allah to go to waste. 1 As for those who believe and do good deeds and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the truth from their Lord, God will remove their sins from them and set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth their parables for mankind. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 He will soon guide them (towards Paradise) and make them succeed. 5 He will admit them into the Paradise which He has made known to them. 6 O People who Believe! If you help the religion of Allah, He will help you and will stabilise you. 7 But the unbelievers shall be the destroyed losers. He will bring their deeds to nothing. 8 That is because they hated what Allah has sent down, so He annulled their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed through the land to see the end of those who went before them? Allah utterly destroyed them. These unbelievers are doomed to the same end. 10 This, because God is the Protector of all who have attained to faith, whereas they who deny the truth have no protector. 11
