Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
