The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
