And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain so they eat of it. 33 And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein, 34 so that they may eat its fruit, though it was not their hands that made this. Will they not then be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! 36 A sign for them is the night. From it We withdraw the day and they are in darkness. 37 how the sun moves in its orbit and this is the decree of the Majestic and All-knowing God; 38 And the moon -- We have determined it by stations, till it returns like an aged palm-bough. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit. 40 And [it ought to be] a sign for them that We bear their offspring [over the seas] in laden ships, 41 And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride. 42 And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved; 43 unless it be by an act of mercy from Us and a grant of life for a [further span of] time. 44 When they are told, "Fear ye that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that ye may receive Mercy," (they turn back). 45 And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it. 46 And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest. 47 They say, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 48 They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. 49 then they will not be able to make any testament, nor will they return to their people. 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
