(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
