Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
