The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
