Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a son when He has no consort, and He (Himself) created everything, and He is the Knower of all things. 101 This is God, your Lord, there is no God but Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him; He is the guardian of all things. 102 The eyes attain Him not, but He attains the eyes; He is the All-subtle, the All-aware. 103 Proofs have come unto you from your Lord, so whoso seeth, it is for his own good, and whoso is blind is blind to his own hurt. And I am not a keeper over you. 104 This is how We explain Our revelations in various ways -- so that they might come to the point of saying, "You have read this out to us," and that We might make it clear [that this is the truth] to those who are eager to know. 105 Therefore, follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord there is no god except Him, and avoid the idolaters. 106 If God had willed, they would not have associated anything with Him. We did not appoint you over them as their keeper, nor are you their guardian. 107 Believers, do not say bad words against the idols lest they (pagans) in their hostility and ignorance say such words against God. We have made every nation's deeds seem attractive to them. One day they will all return to their Lord who will inform them of all that they have done. 108 And they swear a solemn oath by Allah that if there come unto them a portent they will believe therein. Say; Portents are with Allah and (so is) that which telleth you that if such came unto them they would not believe. 109 And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. And We will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly. 110
