Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 Had the truth followed their caprices, the heavens and the earth and whosoever in them is had surely corrupted. Nay, We brought them their Remembrance, but from their Remembrance they turned. 71 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
