▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
