Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
And whosoever does deeds of righteousness, being a believer, no unthankfulness shall befall his endeavour; We Ourselves write it down for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. 96 And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." 97 Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come! 98 If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein. 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 Indeed those to whom Our promise of goodness has been made, have been kept far away from hell. 101 no sound thereof will they hear; and they will abide in all that their souls have ever desired. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth: 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 We have not sent thee, save as a mercy unto all beings. 107 Say: It is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit? 108 If they turn away, tell them, "I have warned every one of you equally. I do not know when the torment which you have to suffer will take place. 109 God surely knows what you say openly and also knows what you conceal. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!" 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
