۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
