Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
