Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
