Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
