Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be asked of them: 'Where are those whom you associated, 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna, to dwell therein forever.' How evil is the lodging of those that are proud! 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
