▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
