Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
