Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
