He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned (his) back, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 Exalted, pure. 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what did He create him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave; 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Nay, but man did not fulfil what Allah had enjoined upon him. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 And dense gardens, 30 fruits, and grass. 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 his wife and his sons: 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
