Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
