3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
