Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 They know all that you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
