Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will be plunged in flaming Fire, 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
