The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The decree of God is at hand, so do not seek to hasten it. Holy is He, and exalted far above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
