Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
