The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 and when all human beings are coupled [with their deeds,] 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
