Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? 1 Some faces that Day shall be downcast with fear, 2 Toiling, weary, 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 no food for them except thorny plants 6 Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 in a garden sublime, 10 hearing there no babble; 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 raised couches, 13 and goblets laid out, 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?- 17 And at the sky, how it is raised aloft? 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? 20 So, [O Prophet] exhort them: your task is only to exhort, 21 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 him will God cause to suffer the greatest suffering [in the life to come]: 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 Ours is surely then to reckon with them. 26
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
