Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret, 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
