We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust; 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 106 Do not plead for those who are dishonest to themselves; Allah does not love him who betrays trust and persists in sin. 107 They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do. 108 Ha, there you are; you have disputed on their behalf in the present life; but who will dispute with God on their behalf on the Resurrection Day, or who will be a guardian for them? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 Whoso committeth sin committeth it only against himself. Allah is ever Knower, Wise. 111 One who makes a mistake or commits a sin and ascribes it to an innocent person, he only burdens himself with slander and a grave sin. 112
