The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
