Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 Had these (idols, etc.) been aliha (gods), they would not have entered there (Hell), and all of them will abide therein. 99 There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing. 100 But those to whom We have already promised blessings will be far away from hell. 101 they shall be, kept far from it neither shall they hear any whisper of it, and they shall dwell forever in that their souls desired; 102 The Hour of the Great Terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them saying: "This is your Day which you had been promised." 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 If they turn away, say, "I have warned you all alike, though I do not know whether [the scourge] which you are promised is near at hand or far off. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 And I know not but that this may be a trial for you, and enjoyment for a while. 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
