Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
