He is the Irresistible, Supreme over His slaves, and He sends guardians (angels guarding and writing all of one's good and bad deeds) over you, until when death approaches one of you, Our Messengers (angel of death and his assistants) take his soul, and they never neglect their duty. 61 Then they all shall be taken back unto Allah, their true Master. Lo! His shall be the judgement. And He is the Most Swift of reckoners. 62 Ask: "Who is it who comes to your rescue in the darkness of the desert and the sea, and whom you supplicate humbly and unseen: 'If You deliver us from this, we shall indeed he grateful?' 63 Say: Allah delivereth you from this and from all affliction. Yet ye attribute partners unto Him. 64 Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand. 65 And your people call it a lie and it is the very truth. Say: I am not placed in charge of you. 66 Every tiding has its time appointed; you will surely know.' 67 NOW, whenever thou meet such as indulge in [blasphemous] talk about Our messages, turn thy back upon them until they begin to talk of other things and if Satan should ever cause thee to forget [thyself,] remain not, after recollection, in the company of such evildoing folk, 68 for whom those who are conscious of God are in no wise accountable. Theirs, however, is the duty to admonish [the sinners,] so that they might become conscious of God. 69 And forsake those who take their religion for a pastime and a jest, and whom the life of the world beguileth. Remind (mankind) hereby lest a soul be destroyed by what it earneth. It hath beside Allah no protecting ally nor intercessor, and though it offer every compensation it will not be accepted from it. Those are they who perish by their own deserts. For them is drink of boiling water and a painful doom, because they disbelieved. 70
