And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 For that which they have been working. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
