The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
