With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
