The Day will surely come when We shall summon every people with their leader. Then those who are given their records in their right hands will read their records [eagerly] and shall not in the least be wronged: 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 They had almost led you away from what has been revealed to you, that you may invent things about Us besides those revealed, when they would have taken you as friend. 73 And had We not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 In that case We would have surely made thee taste the double of the tornment of the life and the double of the torment of death, and then thou wouldst not find against Us a helper. 75 And indeed it was close that they frighten you in the land for them to oust you from it – and if it were, they would not have stayed after you, but a little. 76 This has been Our Way with the Messengers whom We sent before you. You will find no change in Our Way. 77
