Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
