Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
