Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
