The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
