It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
