۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
