Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
37 verses, revealed in Mecca after Smoke (Al-Dukhaan) before The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. 3 In your creation and in that of the beasts living on earth there is evidence of the Truth for the people who have strong faith. 4 And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west etc., sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand. 5 Those are the signs of God that We recite to thee in truth; in what manner of discourse then, after God and His signs, will they believe? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 Who hears the Verses of Allah (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment! 8 And when he comes to know of any of Our communications, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement. 9 Hell is ahead of them; and all that they may have gained [in this world] shall be of no avail whatever to them, and neither shall any of those things which, instead of God, they have come to regard as their protectors: for, awesome suffering awaits them. 10 This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature. 11

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
