I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
