So by oath of the things you see. 38 and by what you do not see, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
