The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
