SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
